Who needs rest?

Yesterday I didn't get to sit down and relax until I fell asleep.  I felt like I was going non stop, between the inventory I did, dinner, cleaning the great room (living and dining areas) and kitchen, mopping the floors, folding little clothes, folding my own, and playing with a cute little girl.  It was a good night.  Tonight is another dinner (at least it's easy stir fry and the rangoons will be quick to make), baking cakes for the cake balls and balling them out, I hope I can even sneak in a small walk since it will be nice and crisp out (Yea, storm is coming!!!!). Fingers crossed I get to bed before midnight again.

In other news, 17 days left 'til we ring in the new year.  Where did this year go?  It's funny, I literally spent 50% of year pregnant, and the other 50% being a mom. It's really has been my favorite year so far in my life.  I'm really excited to see what next year brings.  How will you remember 2011 and what are you looking forward to next year?

Pardon our dust...

We're in the middle of getting the shopping cart and main website up and running. While all this is going on we made some good strides on getting retailers. We are just thrilled to announce we will be carrying two brands we both love and use: FuzziBunz and Rockin' Green Soap. We also are carrying organic clothing from this amazing company called Zee Spot.

In the meantime of all this going on, we've been busy on the home front too dealing with colds. Just means more cuddle time! We finally got some fall weather here and it's nice to wear a sweater again. We'll see how long it lasts here in Southern California!

In the Holiday spirit...

... and is all decked out in orange and black! Halloween is our favorite holiday in our household. Our little one's been dressed up in pumpkin attire all week. With living in Southern California, it always felt like it was the beginning of the fall here. Granted next week we'll be hitting high 80's, at least with halloween we can fake it.

Onto more business matters: still waiting on our business permit. We should get it next week in the mail and hope we can really push forward with contacting wholesalers. We have so many great ideas and hope by the end of November we can have orders in and really get our website set up to go live at the beginning of the year.

Now I think our little kitty cat girl is stirring, time to go feed her and spend some time as a family! Trick or treat and be safe out there!

Phew, it's been a long few days from getting paperwork in order to taking care of a teething 15 week old baby. Life has been so wonderful and can't wait to share our journey on opening up our store to you.

Can't wait to share our journey with you!!!
